Clarience highlights smart trailer push with new fuel, tire, and lighting solutions

NASHVILLE—Clarience Technologies showcased a host of new technologies with its team of companies at the 2026 TMC Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition, including solutions that improve trailer visibility, simplify maintenance tasks, and reduce downtime, all while advancing a broader “smart trailer” ecosystem built on connected systems, said Paul Sniegocki, executive VP, engineering & chief technology officer at Clarience.
“Smart trailer is all about advanced technologies using advanced connectivity to communicate to the entire infrastructure,” he said during the TMC press conference, “So we can cover any type of sensory product, visibility product, and safety product from the front of the tractor to the rear of the trailer.”
P.S.I. Easy Air wheel cover
Pressure Systems International (P.S.I.) announced a partnership with FlowBelow, introducing an aerodynamic wheel cover with integrated Easy Air Access, designed to simplify tire pressure checks and inflation without removing the cover.
The system routes air lines from inner and outer duals to access points on the wheel cover, allowing technicians and drivers to check and adjust pressure quickly. Optional integration with TireView TPMS and TireView LIVE can also enable real-time tire data through telematics platforms.
“This brings the air right to the outer area of the easy access latch,” said Craig Smith, VP of marketing and communications for P.S.I. “You install the wheel cover, and you can check that air on the inner and outer tires without removing anything.”
The system aims to improve tire compliance, reduce irregular wear, and prevent roadside failure by reducing the effort required for pre-trip inspections and maintenance.
